I have recently been experimenting with creating a solid shape of color on the torso and legs, broken by a varying color of a coat or blazer. It creates an interesting visual shape, and extends the length of the body. I haven’t tried it with denim, as this guy has, but it’s definitely something that changes the pace of the standard layering game, especially with a coat as great as this one.
