Dare I say it, I’m kinda diggin’ The Biebs on this. Agreed with the below, he’s got this Jackson 5-era MJ type of thing goin’ on. Wow, that’s gonna get people pissed at me. I’m talking more in the texture it adds, not that he’s as good or sounds much like a young MJ.
The Kanye+Raekwon+J Biebs collabo. The Wu-Tang sample is sick,and the song isn’t too bad ( the biebs’ pubescent crooning actually fits). Kanye is straight serial killing everything he touches right now.
Early Birthday Gifts
With just ten days to go until the big 2-5, my parents surprised me this weekend with a few things from the LL Bean Signature collection for my birthday.
Navy Plain Weave Pants - Wearing them today. Slimmer in the leg than I originally thought (comparing them to regular LL Bean chinos). But nice fit for sure. Probably taking them to the tailor for a little tapering, but the jury’s still out on that one. I’ll most likely get these hemmed, too, no break.
Trench - Fits pretty spot on, except the sleeves are a tad long. Roomy enough to wear a blazer underneath for sure.
Gingham Poplin Dress Shirt - I personally really like gingham and I wanted a darker color to make the usually S/S pattern more F/W friendly. The dark navy pattern is offset by a taupe-like color, not your usual white. I like this little detail because it mutes the usually in your face pattern, again making it appropriate for the F/W.
